Kick off

Just wondering what the fuss is about, blogs, blogs and more blogs. As the saying goes, Blogs, Blogs everywhere but not a blog to read. Hmm, think about it, what is a blog? A blackboard to express your thoughts? Going further on the blackboard concept, do you want everybody in the class to read it? A kind of "Let it out" concept (from Indianpolis Star for people not in the know) ?? Except here, everybody knows (or do they) the person who is writing things. Or is a blog a private diary, for recalling your thoughts/memories? Sounds weird, doesn't it? I am writing a blog but have absolutely no idea about what is or who is it for? That's me, I guess.
